Fatal Traffic Accident at 5400 South Braeswood
October 3, 2011 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in the 5400 block of South Braeswood about 6:50 p.m. on Sunday (Oct. 2).
The female victim, 47, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where she was pronounced dead. Her identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Usher and Officer Y. Estrada reported:
The driver of a black Nissan Xterra was westbound on South Braeswood with the green light when the victim suddenly stepped in front of her vehicle and was struck. The victim was then taken to the hospital where she died.
The investigation is continuing.
