Update: Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Shooting at 906 Greens Road
October 3, 2011 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a man at 906 Greens Road about 7:10 p.m. on Sept. 22.
The suspect, Marquis Hill (b/m, DOB: 7-24-90), is charged with murder in the 180th State District Court. He is accused in the killing of ColbyIvan McCardle, 21, of the above address. Mr. McCardle suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and was transported to Memorial Hermann Northwest Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant N. T. Ruland and Senior Police Officer B. W. Nabors reported:
Mr. McCardle was in an apartment complex parking lot at the above address talking with friends. The group was approached by an unknown black male suspect and words were exchanged. At some point, the suspect pulled a gun from his waistband and began firing. McCardle was struck in the arm and chest. His friends drove McCardle to the hospital.
Further investigation identified Hill as the suspect in this case and on Friday (Sept. 30), he turned himself in to police. He admitted to his involvement in McCardle's death.
