November 21, 2011 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man involved in a traffic accident in the 9500 block of Richmond about 5 a.m. today (Nov. 21).

The male victim, age unknown, was transported to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital where he was pronounced dead.  His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. 

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant G. T. Hall and Senior Police Officer A. N. Taylor reported: 

The victim was driving a white GMC pickup truck westbound on Richmond Avenue when, for unknown reasons, his vehicle veered to the right and went off the roadway.  The truck then struck several fixed objects and then rolled over. 

The investigation is pending the victim's cause of death.
