November 14, 2011 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a woman found at 12537 Wellington about 11:30 a.m. on Saturday (Nov. 12).

The identity and cause of death of the female, 49, of the above address, are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Carrillo and Senior Police Officer H. Chavez reported:

The victim was found deceased by her common-law husband when he arrived home from work.  There was blood found at the scene and the victim suffered from health problems.  There were no signs of forced entry into the residence nor signs of a struggle.  The case is pending results of an autopsy.
