November 3, 2011 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 5400 Madden about 11:15 p.m. on Wednesday (Nov. 2).
The victim, Phillip Little, 40, of Houston, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. L. Meeler and Officers J. L. French and R. C. Lujan reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a traffic accident at the intersection of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Canterway. Officers arrived and found Mr. Little slumped over the steering wheel in his vehicle.
Further investigation determined Little was a Domino's Pizza delivery driver who was sent for a delivery to the above location. Witnesses reported hearing several gunshots in the 5900 block of Madden and then a car squealing out of the area.
At this time, the motive in the shooting appears to be robbery.
