Composite Sketch Released in Shooting at 7800 Jensen
May 25, 2011 - Houston police homicide investigators have released a composite sketch of a suspect wanted in the shooting of a man at 7800 Jensen about 5:30 a.m. today (May 25).
The suspect is described only as a black male in his late 30s to ealry 40s. He is tall with a heavy set build. He was last seen wearing a blue button down shirt and black pants. A composite sketch of the wanted suspect is attached to this news release.
The victim, Isais Quintanilla, 43, suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was transported to an area hospital in ciritical condition.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeants R. J. Rohling, O. L. Chandler and Officer J. A. Harvey reported:
A female pulled into the driveway of her residence at the above location when the suspect approached and attempted to steal her vehicle at gunpoint. Male family members of the female came out of the house and got into a physical fight with the suspect. The suspect fled on foot. The males then got into the vehicle and went looking for the suspect. The suspect was located a short distance away and was again confronted by the males. The suspect then pulled out a handgun, shot Mr. Quintanilla and then fled on foot.
