Fatal Shooting at 13333 Northborough

June 13, 2011 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 13333 Northborough about 12:25 a.m. today (June 13).

The male victim suffered an apparent gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officer B. Evans and Officer L. Carballo reported:

Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 13300 block of Northborough. Upon arrival, they found the deceased victim behind a dumpster on the property. The victim is described only as a black male, approximately 30 to 35 years of age.

Investigators are interviewing witnesses to the incident. At this time, there is no known motive to the shooting.
