January 4, 2011 - Houston police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a man at 9401 Coventry Square #710 about 5:45 a.m. on Saturday (Jan. 1).

The victim, 24, suffered multiple stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.  His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Semmelrock and Officer D. Gunter reported:

The victim was found deceased inside of his apartment by his roommate.  He appeared to have been stabbed during a struggle.

At this time, there is no known motive nor suspect(s).
