Composite Sketches of Suspects Wanted in Fatal Shooting at 10710 Harwin

December 14, 2011 - Houston police homicide investigators have released composite sketches of two suspects wanted in the fatal shooting of a man at 10710 Harwin Drive about 11:15 a.m. on November 28.


One suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his late teens to early 20s, about 6 feet tall and 150 to 160 pounds. He has dark hair and was wearing a gray hoodie, dark sunglasses and baggy blue jeans. The second suspect is described as a black male in his 20s, about 6 feet 1 inch tall and 170 pounds. He has hair on his chin and was wearing a black or dark colored hoodie and baggy blue jeans. Composite sketches of the suspects are attached to this news release.

They are wanted in the killing of Jose Bonilla, 28, of Houston, who was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant O. Chandler and Senior Police Officer J. Johnston reported:

Mr. Bonilla was at a car wash at the above location when he was approached and assaulted by two unknown male suspects who attempted to rob him. At some point, Bonilla tried to get away and was shot by one of the suspects.

The suspects fled on foot and might have gotten into a black Honda Civic with dark tinted windows with bondo or primer on the front fender.
