Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 10109 Forum West Drive

August 9, 2011 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 10210 Forum West Drive about 9 a.m. today.

The victim, 23, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Brooks and Senior Police Officer L. Lovelace reported:

A passer-by found the victim lying in the parking lot of the Forum Apartments at the above address and notified police. Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the victim dead. It is believed the shooting occurred in the early morning hours.

At this time, there are no known witnesses nor motive.
