September 29, 2010 - Houston police are investigating the death of a man found at 2900 Starmount about 10:50 p.m. on Wednesday (Sept. 29).

The male victim suffered stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.  His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officer R. Moreno reported:

The victim was found deceased in the parking lot of an auto repair shop at the above address.  A blue Ford two-door hatchback found a short distance away on Lucore Street at El Buey Way is being examined for any possible evidence in the case.   

At this time, there are no known witnesses or suspects in the case.
