Investigation into Death at 6233 Gulfton

September 23, 2010 - Houston police are investigating the death of a man found at 6233 Gulfton about 10:25 p.m. on Wednesday (Sept. 22).

The male victim, 32, suffered head and chest injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.  His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers B. Nabors and T. Tyler reported:

The victim was found lying in the back parking lot of the Westward Square Apartments at the above address.  He had been beaten and was deceased when HFD paramedics responded. 

The investigation is continuing.
