Composite Sketch of Suspect in Woman's Death at 911 Redwood #69


September 9, 2010 - Houston police homicide investigators have released a composite sketch of a suspect wanted in the death of a woman found at 911 Redwood #69 about 7 a.m. on Aug. 29. 

The suspect is described only as a Hispanic male in his 20s, about 5 feet 5 inches tall with an average build.  The sketch of the wanted suspect is attached to this news release. 

The victim, Alejandra Perez-Pyle, 51, of Houston, suffered sharp force injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. 

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers H. Chavez and A. Carrillo reported: 

Eastside Patrol officers responded to an assault call at the above location and found Ms. Perez-Pyle with possible sharp force wounds.  An investigation determined Perez-Pyle lived with a roommate who found her and notified police. 

Further investigation and witness statements developed information that led to a suspect description.  Evidence at the scene also suggested the suspect may have been injured during this incident.
