Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 6275 West Airport

November 29, 2010 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman at 6275 West Airport about 9 p.m. on Friday (Nov. 26).

The victim, 24, suffered a gunshot wound to the back and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where she was pronounced dead.  Her identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Parker and Senior Police Officer T. Tyler reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a reported shooting call at the above address.  Upon arrival, they discovered the female victim with a gunshot wound.
