Fatal Shooting at 3832 Mainer
November 22, 2010 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 3832 Mainer #2 about 4:15 a.m. on Sunday (Nov. 21).
The male victim, in his 30s, suffered a gunshot wound and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead. His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Chandler and Officer J. French reported:
Three unknown suspects kicked in the door of the residence at the above location and attacked two residents inside and ransacked the apartment. The suspects were then surprised by two other people returning home. As the suspects fled the apartment, they fired several shots and struck the victim in the chest. The victim was then taken to the hospital where he died.
