Investigation into Body Found at 5000 Galveston Road
November 8, 2010 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found at 5000 Galveston Road about 3:30 p.m. on Friday (Nov. 5).
The male victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officer K.P. Carr reported:
Students walking home from a nearby school discovered the victim in the bayou underneath the railroad bridge at the above address, and notified HPD. The victim, who was partially submerged, was recovered from the water by the HPD Dive Team.
