Fatal Traffic Accident at 4500 South Loop West May 27, 2010 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 4500 South Loop West (South Interstate Highway 610) about 11:40 p.m. on Wednesday (May 26). The identity of the female victim, 34, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. She was pronounced dead at the scene. HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant I. Izaguirre and Officer T. Turner reported: The female was driving a green Saturn Vue eastbound on the 610 South Loop West when, for unknown reasons, she failed to stay in her lane and struck a concrete barrier.
