Suspect Charged in Fatal Traffic Accident at 300 Genoa Red Bluff May 24, 2010 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in a fatal traffic at 300 Genoa Red Bluff about 8:20 p.m. on Saturday (May 22). The suspect, Reyes Reyna (H/m, DOB: 1-6-55), is charged with intoxication manslaughter in the 338th State District Court. The male victim, 41, of Houston, was pronounced dead at Ben Taub General Hospital. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Couch and Officer I. Jefferson reported: The victim was operating a black Harley Davidson motorcycle westbound on Genoa Red Bluff when he entered the intersection of Allen Genoa. Witnesses reported the motorcyclist had a green light. The driver of a green Mazda B2000 pickup truck, Reyna, was driving east on Genoa Red Bluff when he failed to yield the right of way and attempted to turn left, striking the motorcyclist.
