Fatal Traffic Accident at 11140 Fondren May 13, 2010 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 11140 Fondren about 8:50 a.m. today (May 13). The female victim, 30, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Chambers and Officer A. Taylor reported: The driver of a black Lexus was traveling in a Fiesta parking lot when his vehicle struck another vehicle. When the driver of the Lexus attempted to flee the scene at a high rate of speed his vehicle struck a sign in the parking lot, killing the female front seat passenger (victim). The driver and a child sitting in the back seat were transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital. The investigation is continuing.
