Fatal Shooting at 7445 Park Place May 10, 2010 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male at 7445 Park Place about 1:25 a.m. today (May 10). The victim suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M.A. Countryman and Officer J.L. French reported: HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the Dos Rios nightclub and found the victim shot in the chest. Paramedics arrived and transported the victim to the hospital. Witnesses stated the victim and unknown male suspect got into an argument when the suspect pulled a gun, shot the victim and fled. The suspect is described only as a tall and skinny Hispanic male in his early 20s.
