Fatal Shooting at 5700 Thousand Oaks Circle May 10, 2010 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 5700 Thousand Oaks Circle about 2:30 a.m. on Sunday (May 9). The victim, Reginald Leroy King, 29, of Houston, suffered a gunshot wound to the back and was pronounced dead at the scene. HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers S. Anderson and T. Miller reported: Mr. King and a witness were walking through the Pine Ridge Apartments parking lot when they were approached by six or seven unknown armed male suspects. One suspect pointed his gun at King and demanded his car keys. As King tried to slap the gun out of the suspect’s hand, the suspect struck King in the face with his fist. King and the witness then fled in separate directions. The suspects followed King and then shot him. The suspects are described only as black males.
