Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Shooting at 7324 Tuck May 10, 2010 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a male at 7324 Tuck about 5:50 p.m. on April 11. The suspect, Rosendo Diaz (H/m, DOB: 1-10-82), is charged with capital murder in the 230th State District Court. Diaz is accused in the shooting of Andrew Stewart, 29, of Chicago, Illinois. Stewart suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B.E. Roberts and Senior Police Officer R.A. Moreno reported: Mr. Stewart was at the residence at 7324 Tuck with Diaz and two other unknown suspects. Stewart and the suspects got into a struggle over a backpack which led to the suspects shooting Stewart and fleeing the scene with the backpack in a gray two-door vehicle, traveling east. Further information developed Diaz as a suspect in this case and, on Friday (May 7), he was arrested and charged. Two other unknown suspects are being sought for questioning in the case.
