Suspect Arrested, Charged in Indecency Investigation

May 6, 2010 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested and believed responsible for at least four cases of indecency with a child in the Houston area.

Daniel Jon McCorvey (b/m, DOB: 5/30/75) has been charged with indecency with a child in the 176th State District Court. A second charge is pending against McCorvey in Harris County and a third is pending in Fort Bend County. A photo of McCorvey is attached to this news release.

Investigators in the HPD Juvenile Division Sex Crimes Unit are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying other possible victims.

McCorvey is a registered sex offender and is accused of exposing himself to victims on their way to school in southeast and southwest Houston. The victims range in age from 11 to 16 years of age. Investigators have reason to believe he may have exposed himself to other victims and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
