Fatal Traffic Accident at 4400 Kashmere March 10, 2010 - A man critically injured in a traffic accident in the 4400 block of Kashmere about 6:10 p.m on Feb. 18. has died from his injuries. The victim, age unknown, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in critical condition. Doctors pronounced him dead on Tuesday (March 9). His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office. HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. P. Miller and Officer M. J. DeLeon reported: According to witnesses, the driver of a red Ford F-150 pickup truck was speeding eastbound on Cavalcade when he turned north onto Kashmere and struck the victim, who was on a bicycle. The driver was issued citations and released at the scene. The investigation is continuing.
