Suspect Arrested, One Other Wanted in Fatal Shooting at 7324 Tuck June 30, 2010 - Houston police are asking for the public's help in locating a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a man at 7324 Tuck about 5:50 p.m. on April 11. The wanted suspect, Ronald Ray Charles (w/m, DOB: 5-24-82), is charged with capital murder in the 230th State District Court. A photo of Charles is attached to this news release. A second suspect, Rosendo Diaz (H/m, DOB: 1-10-82) is in custody and charged with capital murder in the 230th State District Court. He and Charles are accused in the death of Andrew Stewart, 29, of Illinois, who suffered multiple gunshot wounds. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B.E. Roberts and Senior Police Officer R.A. Moreno reported: Mr. Stewart had driven from Springfield, Illinois, to Houston in order to purchase narcotics from two suspects. When he arrived at the location, an argument ensued and both suspects shot Stewart and then robbed him. Further investigation led to the identification of the suspects as Diaz and Charles. Diaz was arrested on May 7 and remains in the Harris County Jail.
