Fatal Traffic Accident at 1300 State Highway 6 North June 28, 2010 - A man seriously injured in a traffic accident at 1300 State Highway 6 North about 2:10 a.m. on June 3 has died from his injuries. The victim is identified as Jerry Lee Lewis, 40, of Katy. He was pronounced dead at Ben Taub General Hospital last Friday (June 25). HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant A. Francois reported: The victim was operating a black Harley Davidson FLHX motorcycle and traveling south on State Highway 6 at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the motorcycle and struck a fixed object. He was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. The investigation is continuing. JFC/VHS 6-28-10
