Investigation Into Fatal Shooting at 2600 Westridge June 7, 2010 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman and apparent suicide of a man at 2600 Westridge about 12:45 p.m. on Friday (June 4). The female, Edwina Foster, 43, of Houston, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. The male suspect, George Tyler Hudson (b/m, DOB: 8-20-42) suffered an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Meeler and Senior Police Officer W. Ferguson reported: HPD patrol officers and HFD emergency personnel responded to the Mainridge Apartments at the above address after residents reported a foul odor coming from one of the apartments. Officer and HFD personnel forced entry into the apartment and found the male and female deceased. Anyone with information on this case is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600.
