Fatal Traffic Accident at 3000 North Eldridge Parkway June 4, 2010 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in the 3000 block of North Eldridge Parkway about 1:10 p.m. on Thursday (June 3). The male victim, 20, of Katy, was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital via Life Flight helicopter where he was pronounced dead. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant S. Wilson and Officer C. Sartor reported: A green Chevrolet truck was traveling southbound on North Eldridge Parkway when the driver struck a maroon Jeep Cherokee attempting to turn left onto Patterson Road and not yielding the right of way. The driver of the Chevrolet was transported to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the Jeep was taken to Memorial Hermanns Hosptial where he was pronounced dead.
