Investigation into Woman's Death at 3029 Broadway

January 11, 2010 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the shooting death of a woman found at 3029 Broadway about 10:45 p.m. on Friday (Jan. 8).

The identity of the female is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner's Office.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant T. Biggs and Senior Police Officer E. Castaneda reported:

Officers were called to the location on reports a female was found deceased inside the building. Investigators found the woman had suffered a gunshot wound.

An autopsy will determine her cause of death.
