Investigation Into Fatal Shooting at 302 Blueberry Lane February 18, 2010 - The fatal shooting of a man at 302 Blueberry Lane about 9:20 a.m. on Wednesday (Feb. 17) will be referred to Harris County grand jury. Roosevelt Jackson, 23, of Houston, suffered gunshot wounds and pronounced dead at the scene. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J.J. Brooks and Senior Police Officer M.F. Waters reported: Jackson forced entry into a home at 302 Blueberry Lane, while the homeowner was sleeping. The homeowner, 42, awoke to the sound of the intruder in his house and, fearing for his safety, fatally shot Jackson. The homeowner was not injured.
