Suspect Charged in Woman’s Death at 230 W. 27th Street February 15, 2010 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the death of a woman at 230 West 27th Street about 11 p.m. on Saturday (Feb. 13). The suspect, William Robert Stone (w/m, DOB: 7-20-62), is charged with murder in the 351st State District Court. The victim, Renee Longoria, 51, of the above address, was likely strangled. Her cause of death is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office. HPD Homicide Division Sergeants B.J. Harris and D.A. Ferguson reported: Friends of Ms. Longoria called police Saturday (Feb. 13) after they had not heard from her for more than 24 hours. Police entered Longoria’s apartment and discovered her body inside. Sunday (Feb. 14), Longoria’s live-in boyfriend, William Robert Stone, surrendered to detectives and confessed to beating and strangling Longoria.
