Update in Shooting at 3814 Collingsworth February 9, 2010 - A man critically wounded in a shooting at 3814 Collingsworth about 7:50 p.m. on January 26 has died from his injuries. The victim, David Wayne Hall, 43, of Houston, suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in critical condition. Doctors pronounced him dead on Saturday (Feb. 6). HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Dillingham and Senior Police Officer J. Bonaby reported: Patrol officers responded to a shooting at 3814 Collingsworth and were told by witnesses that an unknown black male suspect, wearing a mask and armed with a handgun, approached Mr. Hall and fired several shots.
