Fatal Traffic Accident at 10600 South Kirkwood February 8, 2010 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in the 10600 bock of South Kirkwood about 2:45 p.m. on Friday (Feb. 5). The male victim, 84, was transported to Southwest Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office. HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant R. Gonzales and Officer B. Tran reported: The vehicle, a beige Toyota Camry, had been traveling in the 10600 block of South Kirkwood when the driver left the roadway and struck a tree. It is believed the driver suffered a medical condition that caused him to lose control of the vehicle. There were no other persons nor vehicles involved in this accident.
