Fatal Traffic Accident at 10200 Galveston Road February 5, 2010 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in the 10200 block of Galveston Road (State Highway 3) about 12:50 p.m. on Wednesday (Feb. 3). The male victim was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead on Thursday (Feb. 4). His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office. HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Officer J.C. Espinoza reported: Patrol officers responded to a report of a vehicle in a ditch on Highway 3. The vehicle, a gray Toyota Tundra, had been traveling northbound when the driver left the roadway and struck a fence. It appears the driver suffered a possible stroke.
