Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 5901 Selinsky
August 18, 2010 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 5901 Selinsky about 11:20 p.m. on Tuesday (August 17).
The male victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant E. Cisneros reported:
The victim and his girlfriend arrived at their home at the Villa Americana Apartments. As they exited their vehicle, several unknown suspects fired at them, striking the victim several times. The girlfriend was able to escape without any injuries.
The investigation is continuing.
