Fatal Shooting at 6417 Kassarine Pass April 21, 2010 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of one man and wounding of another at 6417 Kassarine Pass about 11:20 p.m. on Tuesday (April 20). The deceased male victim, age unknown, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Science. A second male also suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he is recovering from his injuries. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Roberts and Officer K. Lopez reported: Patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above location and found two males had been shot inside the residence. Witnesses told officers two vehicles were following each other down the street when both stopped in front of the residence at 6417 Kassarine Pass. Several people then got out of the vehicles and entered the residence. Shortly after, witnesses reported hearing several gunshots inside the residence and then saw several people flee the scene in a dark colored vehicle.
