Man Sought For Questioning in Fatal Shooting at 10118 Lucore April 20, 2010 - Houston police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a man wanted for questioning in the fatal shooting of a man at 10118 Lucore about 8:55 p.m. on April 8. Florencio Leal (H/m, DOB: 3-25-82) is being sought as a person of interest in this incident. Leal, 6 feet tall and 200 pounds with “Becca” tattooed on the front of his neck, also uses aliases of “Joshua Leal” and “Bubba” and is considered armed and dangerous. He suffered a gunshot wound to the upper right arm during this incident and has not been charged at this time. A photo of Leal is attached to this news release. The victim, Andres Gonzalez, 29, of Houston, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers M. Miller and R. Bolton reported: Patrol officers responded to a shooting call at 10118 Lucore after neighbors heard several gunshots coming from inside the residence and called police. The victim was found on the floor of his residence. Further investigation determined the victim had been shot by several unknown male suspects. One small vehicle was seen leaving the area, eastbound on Lucore. One suspect was described only as a Hispanic male with a red bandanna over his face. Further investigation developed information that identified Leal as a person of interest in this case. His role in this incident has not been determined at this time.
