Fatal Traffic Accident at 12400 Sowden

April 5, 2010 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 12400 Sowden about 4:10 a.m. on Sunday (Apr. 4).

The victim, Juan Ricardo Alvarado-Bocanegra, 27, of Houston, was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Morgan and Officer L. Ho reported:

The victim was driving a white Chevrolet Silverado westbound in the 12400 block of Sowden when the vehicle veered to the right and went off the roadway. The vehicle went into a ditch, rolled over and landed on the driver's side door. The victim, the only person in the vehicle, was not wearing a seat belt and was partially ejected. He died at the scene. There were no other vehicles involved in the accident.
