Fatal Shooting at 100 Dyna Drive #172

September 24, 2009 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 100 Dyna Drive #172 about 10:10 p.m. on Wednesday (Sept. 23).

The victim, Jose Giovani Reyes, 48, of Houston, suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Torres and Senior Police Officer S. Anderson reported:

Two armed Hispanic males entered Mr. Reyes’ apartment and demanded money and jewelry from the three people inside. Mr. Reyes was fatally shot during the confrontation. The suspects then immediately fled the scene on foot, taking with them jewelry and a cellular phone belonging to one of the surviving robbery victims.
