Fatal Shooting at 7000 Corpus Christi October 7 , 2009 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found in the 7000 block of Corpus Christi about 7:05 p.m. on Tuesday (Oct. 6). The victim, 30, suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. J. Blain and Officer E. H. Schmidt reported: The victim was doing yard work at a business in the 7000 block of Corpus Christi when he was shot by an unknown male suspect driving in what is believed to be a 2006 silver or gray four-door sedan. The suspect is described only as a Hispanic male, 25 to 30 years of age, with medium length black hair.
