Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Shooting at 7111 Harwin November 17, 2009 - Houston police have arrested a suspect charged in the fatal shooting of a man at 7111 Harwin about 1:30 p.m. on October 27. The suspect, Albert Young (b/m, DOB: 7-17-68), is charged with murder in the 338th State District Court. He is accused in the killing of Willie Bernard Davis, 27, of Houston, who suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J.T. Parker and Senior Police Officer S. Straughter reported: Officers were dispatched to an assault in-progress call with weapons involved in the parking lot of 7111 Harwin. Upon arrival, officers discovered Mr. Davis had been fatally shot. The investigation revealed that Davis and several of his friends became involved in a dispute with several black males, many of whom Davis knew. At least two suspects fired weapons during the dispute, striking Davis one time. Investigators learned of Young's involvement and arrested him without incident on November 9.
