Fatal Shooting at 7575 Office City

November 16, 2009 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 7575 Office City about 9 a.m. on Saturday (Nov. 14).

The identity of the victim, 49, is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner's Office. He suffered at least one gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant G. Gonzales and Senior Police Officer J. Sosa reported:

Two Hispanic male suspects forced their way into apartment #8110 and demanded to speak with the victim regarding money one of the suspects said the victim owed him. The other persons inside the apartment were placed in a bedroom while the suspects beat the victim and eventually shot him. The suspects then fled the scene.
