Suspect Arrested, Charged in Death at 6350 West Sam Houston Parkway November 13, 2009 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal stabbing of a man found at 6350 West Sam Houston Parkway North about 10 a.m. on Thursday (Nov. 12). The suspect, John Church (b/m, DOB: 1-14-60), is charged with murder in the 182nd State District Court. He is accused in the killing of Willie Valliere, 35, of Stafford. Mr. Valliere suffered a stab wound to the chest and was pronounced dead at Memorial Hermann Northwest Hospital. HPD Homicide Division Officers W.P. Ferguson and M.F. Stahlin reported: Patrol officers responded to a call of a cutting in progress and found that Mr. Valliere had been stabbed in the chest and was lying on the ground. Church was taken into custody at the scene and later admitted to his role in Valliere’s death. JKS/VHS 11-13-09
