Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 12706 Corona

May 28, 2009 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man and woman found at 12706 Corona about 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday (May 27).  

The victims, Antonio R. Portillo, 36, and his wife, Rosa Hermelinda Portillo, 33, suffered gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene.     

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Blain and Officer E. Schmidt reported:

The children of Antonio and Rosa Portillo came home from school and found their parents dead from gunshot wounds. The children reported their parents had been arguing earlier in the day. A pistol was recovered at the scene. The causes of death are pending autopsy results and further investigation.
