Fatal Shooting at 6363 West Airport

May 26, 2009 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 6363 West Airport Boulevard about 1:15 a.m. today (May 26).

The identity of the victim, 31, is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office.  He suffered a gunshot wound to his upper torso and died at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. Dillingham and J.C. Padilla reported:

The victim and suspect initially got involved in an argument.  Shortly afterward, the suspect returned to the apartment complex and gunshots were fired in the parking lot.  The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.  The suspect fled and is currently being sought by investigators.
