Charges Filed in Male's Death at 2808 Airline Drive #209 March 20, 2009 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the death of man at 2808 Airline Drive #209 on Thursday (Mar. 19). The suspect, Troy Neal Traylor (w/m, DOB 8-3-68), is charged with capital murder in the 337th State District Court. The unidentified male victim, 55, suffered blunt trauma to his head and lacerations to his neck and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant N. T. Ruland and Senior Police Officer B. W. Nabors reported: Traylor walked into the Central Police Station at 61 Reisner about 9:15 a.m. on Thursday (Mar. 19) and told the desk officer that he had killed someone at the Fiesta Motel. Patrol officers were dispatched the motel where they found the victim lying on the bed in room 209. Traylor admitted to his involvement in the man’s death and told investigators that he and the victim had been smoking crack cocaine prior to the killing. KJS/VHS
