Investigation into Baby's Death at 9850 Meadowglen Lane

March 9, 2009 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of an infant found unresponsive at 9850 Meadowglen Lane #230 about 11 a.m. on Friday (Mar. 6). 

The victim, a two-month-old boy, was pronounced dead at Memorial Hermann-Memorial City Hospital. 

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Brooks and Senior Police Officer M. Waters reported: 

The baby boy was sleeping in his father's arms when the father awoke and found his son was not breathing.  The father called 911 and attempted CPR prior to HFD paramedics arriving.  The baby was transported to the hospital, but died a short time later.   

The investigation is continuing and is pending results of an autopsy.
