Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Shooting at 6503 Wanda Lane June 5, 2009 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a man at 6503 Wanda Lane about 6:30 p.m. on April 29, 2009. The suspect, Jamie Alan Adams (b/m, DOB: 9-26-91) is charged with murder in the 263rd State District Court. He is accused in the killing of Andrea Marquis Lewis, 20, of the above address. Mr. Lewis suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at Ben Taub General Hospital on April 30, 2009. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Blain and Officer E. Schmidt reported: Mr. Lewis was in the parking lot of the Saint James Apartments at 6503 Wanda Lane when he was shot by an unknown suspect. An early 90s silver four-door Ford Taurus with a burgundy pinstripe, burgundy interior and a taped up rear passenger side window was seen leaving the parking lot immediately after the shooting. Further investigation identified Adams as the shooter in this case and on Tuesday (June 2) he was charged. Adams remains in custody in the Harris County Jail.
