Fatal Shooting at 2708 North Shepherd

June 5, 2009 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 2708 North Shepherd about 2:00 a.m. today

The victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead Northwest Memorial Hermann Hospital. His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Medical Examiner's Office.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant T. D. Griffin and Officer D. K. Gunter reported:
The victim's girlfriend and estranged wife got into a fight at a nightclub at 2708 North Shepherd. After the club closed, the estranged wife and suspect approached the victim and his girlfriend outside the club. The suspect displayed a gun and chaos ensued. The suspect then shot the victim four times, in the back, abdomen and both arms. The victim was transported to Northwest Memorial Hermann Hospital by a private auto, where he was pronounced dead.
