Fatal Traffic Accident at 10000 Gil Jr Lane

July 20, 2009 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in the 10000 block of Gil Jr. Lane about 10 a.m. on Friday (July 17). 

Two female victims were pronounced dead at the scene.  Their identifications are pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office.  A juvenile male was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant G.T. Hall and Officer R.E. Tallent reported: 

A Toyota Camry was in the driveway of a residence when the driver pressed the accelerator instead of the brake.  The vehicle drove into the garage and pinned two females, who had been cooking in the garage, between the vehicle and the back wall of the garage. A juvenile male was trapped under the vehicle.  The investigation is continuing.
